POWER MARRIAGES IN DENHAM SPRINGS

2 local Denham Springs media personalities will have a double wedding in the fall. Long-time bachelors Chris Kincaid and Jon Fine will each tie the knot in November. Kincaid, the Livingston Parish News Sports Editor, is betrothed to former LSU Gymnast/social media personality Olivia Dunne. Denham Springs HS Broadcast producer Jon Fine is engaged to music personality extraordinaire Taylor Swift.

Dunne and Swift, who are good friends, were palling around one Friday night, while watching a Denham Springs broadcast on YouTube, and decrying their present beaus. Both commiserated that their boyfriends—Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes (Dunne) and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (Swift)—were too young, tall, handsome, well-conditioned and famous, not the qualities they were looking for in a relationship. Then the two happened to see Fine interviewing Kincaid on @dsjacketvision’s YouTube telecast of a Denham Spring HS football game. It was love at first sight! Both ladies exulted in the qualities of Kincaid and Fine. Dunne said, “Short and homely are qualities I now know I need in a man.” Swift was quoted as saying, “I totally agree with Olivia. And, I have the advantage of having a man twice my age who probably weighs as much as Travis. What more could a woman want? This will be the start of a new Era for me”

Fine and Kincaid, who are often deluged with date requests from adoring female fans, were able to squeeze Swift and Dunne into their busy social schedules. There was a classic double-date at Big Mike’s Sports Bar & Grill that sealed the deal for both Swift and Dunne.

There is one possible snafu that could preclude this double ceremony from materializing. Fine and Kincaid are both seeking prenups with their brides, wanting to ensure that Swift and Dunne are genuinely interested in them, not just looking for a pay day by capitalizing on Fine and Kincaid’s generational wealth, acquired through their gigs in Denham Springs.

BEARD GOES TO LSU!

Denham Springs Athletic Director/head football coach Brett Beard will now also be the LSU Associate Softball Head Coach. He will retain his duties at Denham Springs. Beard said he had an epiphany, “I found that I did not have enough things to occupy my time at Denham Springs this spring, unlike last year when I coached Yellow Jackets softball, in addition to being the school’s A. D. and football coach. I have found myself stir crazy looking for things to fill out my days this year, with too much free time. When Jeff Landry made the offer to me, it was a no-brainer” Landry, Louisiana’s Governor, said that his recent experience as the Special Envoy to Greenland, prompted him to seek out Beard. “I, too, felt that my days were too empty, not enough things to do, just being the Governor of Louisiana, until my Special Envoy duties to Greenland have helped me fully occupy my time. I see coach Beard being in a similar (quandry). That is why I reached out to him to help run LSU softball.”
