My best friend in the entire world, Mitch Adelman, has an amazing son, Steven, who is a junior at UCF, majoring in Marketing… or is that majoring in Basketball, with a minor in Marketing? A basketball junkie, Steven plays with buddies at least 3 times a week. When he is not playing or watching Hoops, he devotes a lot of time to his phenomenal YouTube channel, SteveGotTricks, which features a collection of amazing trick shots Steven performs on the hardwood. (When not playing or watching basketball or producing a segment of SteveGotTricks, Steven can, allegedly, be seen studying at UCF). You need to check out his recently produced Steph Curry segment on YouTube. Please take a few moments and check out SteveGotTricks. I am issuing a Joe Namath like guarantee you will enjoy SteveGotTricks!!! I can not issue a Joe Namath like Guarantee that the NBA Cup is One and Done. We can only hope! Talk about a solution looking for a problem! An in-season tournament, whose games will count in the regular season, except the championship game, which is a stand-alone, NBA teams are playing regular season games, with only some of them counting as NBA Cup matches. Incentive for players to win the NBA Cup? $500,000 per man, which is ludicrously low, given that most NBA players make more than that in a regular season game. Want to know if your team’s next game is an NBA regular season NBA Cup game or just a regular in-season game? Oh, the drama! The loud and obnoxious court designs give away the answer to this compelling question that most NBA fans do not have. (I’ve never done LSD, but I’m guessing that if I did take a bad psychedelic trip, the NBA Cup designed courts is what the NBA courts would look like). … Contrived Nonsense!!! So LSU is favored by 31.5 points over Georgia State tonight. Is that a halftime spread?
While every person, including most media people, in Baton Rouge, have already chosen LSU qb Jayden Daniels as their Heisman Trophy winner, I’m guessing that it is Washington qb Michael Penix’s to lose. But at least the nation will get to see Penix play this week, next week and, if UW makes it that far, in the Pac 12 Championship game. The 50,00 or 60,000 at Tiger Stadium will get the privilege of seeing Daniels perform tonight. Then, it is home vs the Aggies. Speaking of Texas A&M, someone told me that things are so bad that the team mascot, Reveille, has considered entering the transfer portal. Others contend that A&M could fire their mutt[JF1], but they don’t want to pay the buyout of 77 million bags of Purina Puppy Chow.,… Wondering which is a more powerful force to help your performance--Frank Thomas’ Enhancers, Tyler from Spartanburg berating you on a coach’s show or Taylor Swift attending your NFL game?... We have it from good sources that Swift and Kelce will be together Monday Night.--That would be the Philadelphia Eagles c Jason Kelse and rb D’Andre Swift.
